The very first Survivor Advocacy Center for survivors of human trafficking. This event will bring providers and survivors together, with public support, to raise awareness and provide intervention opportunities for identified victims. Human Trafficking and Trauma-Informed Care Trainings, life skill workshops, and a safe place to heal are the focus programs at the Survivor Landing Space

Florida Public Archaeology Network’s next Archaeology on Tap event at Odd Colony Brewing Co. will feature Richard Pettigrew, the executive director of the Archaeological Legacy Institute, who will be leading a joint mission to locate Amelia Earhart’s lost aircraft.

The America at 250 symposium will explore how the traditions of civic republicanism and economic freedom have interacted and together shaped the United States and can sustain its dynamism into the future. Bringing together scholars, civic leaders, and entrepreneurs, the two-day event will examine the relationship between constitutional government, free enterprise, and active citizenship while considering the principles necessary for the American experiment to flourish in its next 250 years.

The cost of attendance is covered by the University of West Florida and Florida International University’s Adam Smith Center for Economic Freedom. The symposium is free to attend, and meals and refreshments will be provided; however, seating is limited, so advance registration is required.

Hundreds of children's books for $1 each...for all ages, from toddler to teen and young adult.
