Welcome to a trivia night based on the magical place on Earth. Whether it’s classic movies, park history, or wacky facts, our Disney trivia will keep you on your toes. Teams (maximum of 6 people per team) are invited to come nerd out with us and decide once and for all who's Lady and the Champ. The winning team will receive one $25 gift certificate to the center, good for admission, workshops, gift shop purchases, planetarium events, and more. Have a drink, come up with a ridiculous team name (Walt Quizney, anyone?), and start the weekend off right with a fun trivia challenge. Hakuna Matata, friends.

ThemeQuestions will be broken up by category of the theme parks in Disney World: Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom. All questions will be about the park itself and the movies the rides are based on.

The Northwest Florida Panhandle Coalition for Civic Engagement will hold a Get Out The Vote Rally on Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Movement for Change, 1603 N. Davis Highway, Pensacola, FL 32503. The event has been scheduled to coincide with the start of early voting in Escambia County. The purpose of the rally is to educate attendees on the importance of voting and provide information on early voting locations.
“We want everyone to understand how important it is to vote, especially when so many rights are being taken away or at risk,” said Derrick Scott, one of the organizers of the event. “With early voting starting the same day, we hope people will be excited and head over to the polls.”
Refreshments will be provided. COVID-19 protocols will be followed and all attendees are asked to wear a mask.

Interested in having your child or teen learn how to play a musical instrument this school year from the comfort of your home?
Join us for our 1-Day Virtual Music and Arts Workshop!
Students will learn from professional musicians music education and appreciation regarding the history of this unique woodwind. The instrument is a handheld free-reed similar to a pump organ or harmonica which also features a musical keyboard on top, and is played by blowing air through a mouthpiece that fits into a hole on the side of the instrument. Melodicas are small, lightweight, portable and many are designed for children to play!

Discover the sizzling stories behind the constellations in this planetarium event for adults (21+). Explore Greek & Roman legends and mythology hidden in the sky as you take a trip through the cosmos during the ultimate planetarium adventure. Much like all our Sordid Secrets, this is an adult event, as those wily gods definitely didn't keep things rated PG!
Our Planetarium is an inflatable dome. Guests sit on cushions on the floor of the planetarium to view the show. Due to size, space is limited to 25 patrons at a time. Purchasing tickets in advance is highly recommended for this reason. On show nights, please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled showing. In case of no-shows/late shows: reserved spots will be released at show time to make space for the next party.
Shows begin at 6 and 7 pm and last approximately 45 minutes.
Seating is limited and very popular. We encourage purchasing your tickets in advance, as this is a first come, first served event. Please call 850-664-1261, stop by the Science Center, or use our online ticketing option to purchase your tickets.

This workshop is hosted by Center for Sacred Space, a local nonprofit organization. It's scheduled to take place on Thursday, September 22 from 6:00pm through 7:30pm at Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church, located at 75 Fairpoint Dr., Gulf Breeze, FL and will be led by Pam Avery, Associate Pastor and Certified Enneagram Coach. Cost is $35.00.

Registration is now open for the Diplomacy Begins Here Regional Summit and Learning Lab in Pensacola, FL.

Steps for Autism hosted by Autism Pensacola takes to the Pensacola State College track on September 24 from 10am-1pm. Teams are now forming. You may also make a donation directly to the event. Sponsorships are still available, as well. Proceeds benefit the programs and services of Autism Pensacola, a resource center for children and families affected by autism in the Gulf Coast area.
