We are very excited to welcome native son, Dr. Scot Duncan back to Pensacola for what is sure to be an enlightening presentation!
Scot will take us on a dive into what scientists have learned about the ways southeastern birds are being affected by climate change and whether and how they are adapting.
We'll also learn ways in which you can help birds during these critical times.
Why Alabama birds? Because Alabama birds are Florida birds are Mississippi birds, are Georgia birds, and so on.

Explore the principals of engineering as you build beautiful spans. How much weight can your paper bridge hold? How many different arches can you create. This event is recommended for ages 7+. It is included with your museum admission. We will be open for general museum exploration from 10am - 5pm.Activities include arch building, creating bridges out of paper or Legos, and more!

Middle schoolers, this one’s just for you! Come take over the museum after hours for a night of hands-on science, exploring the exhibits, hanging out with friends, and meeting some of our coolest animals. And because no social is complete without food, we’ve got you covered with plenty of pizza and drinks.
Best of all, it’s free and drop-off only, so parents can take a break while kids dive into science. Spots are limited, so don’t miss your chance to join the Science Social: Middle School Edition: where science, snacks, and friends all collide!
Parents, grab your free tickets to secure your child's spot in this program; PREREGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Parents will be required to fill out and sign a program waiver before dropping off children.

Spring Break is in full bloom at the Emerald Coast Science Center! Enjoy hands-on workshops, Creature Features, sciPad fun, Animal Tales shows, and daily planetarium adventures, from journeys to the Moon and Mars to mind-bending brain science and immersive audio tours of the solar system, plus special evening events featuring Ancient Egyptian myths and adults-only planetarium shows. The museum will be open Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., making it easy to spring into a week packed with curiosity, creativity, and unforgettable science fun.
