Acoustic Interlude Sessions
New Episode Released Each Wednesday

Acoustic Interlude Sessions is a music oriented podcast featuring artists with national and international followings as well as local musicians from the Pensacola, Florida area. Selected from a large pool of performing songwriters who have appeared on the Acoustic Interlude radio program, these specific artists were chosen for their outstanding musical abilities as well as the interesting life lessons they have learned while pursuing their careers. Each episode consists of four original pieces and several minutes of conversation.

  • Jesse Bumann is a native of Perdido Key, Florida and is based in the Pensacola Area. He regular schedule includes performances at area showcases and he pursues a solo career while participating in concerts with other local and regional songwriters.
  • Jake Rabalais is a performing songwriter now based in the Pensacola area. He pursues a solo career in addition to his work with several local bands. He has been a part of the Pensacola Songwriters Rounds and his own Shake the Van series of live performance.
  • The Rough & Tumble are a dumpster-folk/thrift store Americana band consisting of Mallory Graham and Scott Tyler. They have been on the road for the last 6 years in a 16-foot camper loaded with themselves, all their instruments and equipment and their 2 dogs. Their music is serious progressive folk, firmly rooted in acoustic bluegrass.
  • Jeffrey Smith is a busy performing songwriter in the Pensacola area. In addition to playing in a number of local and regional bands, Jeffrey is a prolific songwriter, writing new music and lyrics constantly.
  • Nick and Dani met in Peru, formed a band in New Zealand and ended up in Nasville where they added Alex. They were named an Official Band for the 2023 SXSW Festival and have a loyal following of fans across 3 continents.
  • Brenan woody is a young performing songwriter living and working in the Pensacola, Florida area. An accomplished pianist, guitarist and mandolin player, Brenan is at home with musical genres as diverse as classical, bluegrass, rock, and gospel.
  • Chris Moyse is a Kerrville Folk Festival winner, a solid performer, an outstanding songwriter and a hopeless workaholic. Since 2016 he has averaged over one show a week, every week, and most of those have been on the road. What drives him to maintain such a gruelling schedule? According to Chris, "I'm less of a hazard when I'm busy."
  • Justin Lee Hester is a Pensacola based songwriter and performer. He is involved in various social justice causes including the Campfire Fund, dedicated to raising awareness for men’s mental health. While still a teenager Justin was sentenced to 15 years in prison as the result of his addictions. While there he wrote dozens of songs and honed his craft using a guitar checked out of the prison music room.
  • Since age 18, Abby Posner has firmly established herself as a working Los Angeles musician, a talented songwriter and a popular movie composer. Most recently she wrote the score and conducted the orchestra for the highly acclaimed documentary, Lady Buds. She has recently signed a multi-album contract with Blackbird Music.
  • Jonathan Puzan is a popular performing songwriter form the Pensacola, FL area and is a founding member of multiple bands. He is also an in-demand music producer and operates his own studio. Jonathan was born and raised on the island of Guam.
