Bring your friends, grab a drink, and crack the case. We're dying to have you at our next Sip & Science: Mystery at the Museum.
Get clued-in to a night of sipping and sleuthing! See if you can crack the case by solving our murder mystery at your own pace, solo or in teams. We'll also have all our regular museum exhibits up and running including mystery-themed trivia on the sciPad. You'll get to explore the field of forensic science, play with fun technology, and compete for some awesome prizes while you figure out whodunit. Was it the the museum caretaker, in the reptile room, with the Bunsen burner? Or perhaps the night watchman, in the exhibit hall, with the scalpel? Bonus points (and prizes) to those who come in their best spy, sleuth, detective, or Clue-themed costumes...Scooby Gang, anyone?
Guests age 21+ (IDs will be checked at the door)

Come dressed in Halloween costumes, get your Trick-or-Treat candy, and prepare to be scared! We're ready to celebrate Halloween under the night sky in our inflatable planetarium. Join us for a fun and scary night of monster stories, inspired by our planets, moons, and stars. There will be stories of familiar monsters (werewolves, vampires, and minotaurs), unfamiliar monsters (Karakondzula, Chimera, and Coatlicue), and the heroes who battled them. In a battle between good and evil, who will win?
Join our 5 p.m. or 6 p.m. show for family-friendly stories about the creepy creatures of mythology hidden in the night sky. These showings are appropriate for ages 5 and up. Our 7 p.m. Spooktacular Show is more appropriate for ages 8 and up as the tales told during this show are spookier. All shows last approximately 45 minutes.
Our Planetarium is an inflatable dome. Guests sit on cushions on the floor of the planetarium to view the show. Space is limited. Purchasing tickets in advance is highly recommended for this reason. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled showing. In case of no-shows/late shows: reserved spots will be released at show time to make space for the next party.
Seating is limited and very popular. We encourage purchasing your tickets in advance, as this is a first come, first served event. Please call 850-664-1261, stop by the Science Center, or use our online ticketing option to purchase your tickets.

November 11th at Veterans Memorial ParkNovember 12th at Mission BBQ on 9th AvenueNovember 13 & 14th at the Veterans Clinic on HWY 98
The mission is to teach the community why we Honor the Veterans and their Families with Veterans Wreaths every 2nd Saturday in December at Barrancas National Cemetery on NAS Pensacola.
We have this Honor because the Kiwanis Club of Big Lagoon was named Number 1 in the US as the Non-Profit that put more memorial Wreaths on a National Cemetery than over 4009 other Non-Profit Groups. We are so proud to Honor, Remember, and Teach the Children of our community the sacrifices of Veterans and Families.
