The University of West Florida College of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities and the Dr. Grier Williams School of Music will present “Songs of Revolution & Rebellion: A USO-Style Variety Show,” at the Museum of Commerce in downtown Pensacola. Exploring revolution, rebellion, war, peace, patriotism and protest, the production brings together faculty, students and guest performers for a musical journey through pivotal periods of American history including songs, historical letters, narration and humor that trace changing ideas about freedom and service from the American Revolution and Civil War through the World Wars and beyond. Inspired by USO’s traditional entertainment, the show celebrates Pensacola's deep military heritage and honors those who have served. A reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by the event at 6 p.m.

Come dressed in Halloween costumes and prepare to be scared! We’ll teach you about our favorite scary space facts in a terrifying tour of the solar system. Learn which planet is home to the Labyrinth of Night, why Pluto is named after the underworld, and which monster from Greek mythology was the scariest – do you think it’s Medusa, the Minotaur, the Hydra, or the Chimera? Recommended for ages 5+.

Shows last approximately 45 minutes.

Our Planetarium is an inflatable dome. Guests sit on cushions on the floor of the planetarium to view the show. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled showing. In case of no-shows/late shows: reserved spots will be released at show time to make space for the next party. Space is limited. Purchasing tickets in advance is highly recommended for this reason.

HalloZine Fest features a unique marketplace, zine exhibits, and presentations by acclaimed zine artists like the popular influencer Bratty Bre, illustrator and author Cristy Road Carrera, and Giant Robot co-founder and Razorcake contributor Martin Wong.

This year’s HalloZine Fest includes two ultraspecial events:
