The funds will allow us to Renovate the entire building providing an excellent facility to host our Family Day service, outreach events, chapel services, educational classes, and hospitality functions. With your help we can continue helping those in desperate need! From people in addiction, to children whose parents need help, renovating our Family Life Center will undoubtedly impact many lives.

Mother’s Day Market to Be Held April 24 at Osceola Golf Course in Conjunction with Holes Fore Hope
The Centre for Excellence of Pensacola will host a Mother’s Day Market on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Osceola Golf Course, in conjunction with the 5th Annual Holes Fore Hope Charity Golf Tournament.
The Mother’s Day Market will feature local vendors, artisans, small businesses, and specialty products, providing the community with a unique opportunity to shop locally and find meaningful gifts just ahead of Mother’s Day.
Vendor booth fees directly support the Centre’s mission-driven programs, including:
• The A.W.A.R.E. Initiative (human trafficking awareness and prevention)• Community Table (food assistance for families)• Hands Up Practical Skills Classes (life-skills empowerment programs)
“Our goal is to create a fun, family-friendly environment where people can shop local while also supporting impactful work in our community,” said Katie Barker, Director of the Centre for Excellence. “When you shop at the Mother’s Day Market, you’re not just purchasing a gift, you’re helping transform lives.”

Granny Get-Down is a cook-off featuring the culinary stylings of Council on Aging's AmeriCorps Seniors Volunteers. Attendees can sample an array of homestyle dishes and vote for favorites while enjoying music, raffles and live cooking demonstrations in a festive atmosphere that harkens back to traditional community food festivals. This vibrant celebration of classic culinary delights brings together the community to support the Senior Companion and Foster Grandparent volunteer programs. Beyond the delicious offerings, the event aims to raise awareness of the increased risks of food insecurity and social isolation among seniors and raise funds to support Council on Aging's programs that help combat these growing challenges.
