Florida-Alabama Transportation Planning Organization and Advisory Committees Meetings
The Florida-Alabama Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) will hold a public meeting at 9 a.m., Wed., Oct. 13, 2021 at the Pensacola Bay Center, 201 E. Gregory St., Pensacola, Fla. The Technical Coordinating Committee (TCC) will meet Tues., Oct. 12, 2021 at 10 a.m. and the Citizens’ Advisory Committee (CAC) will meet Tues., Oct. 12, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. Both advisory committees will meet at the Pensacola Bay Center, 201 E. The TPO and committees will have a physical location, however, for the convenience of our community members, the meetings can be accessed via video live stream or by phone. All in-person participants are REQUIRED to wear appropriate person protective equipment and will be required to comply with social distancing recommendations. Masks will be available for in-person participants.

The TPO will consider:
- Amending the FY 2022-2026 Transportation Improvement Program to add the construction phase for SR 42 (US 98) from 0.25 miles west of Elberta city limits to Perdido Bay Bridge, Resurfacing Project for Comprehensive Project Management System (CPMS) Number 100071915 in FY 2021/2022 at a Total Cost of $3,227,044.
- Amending the FY 2022-2026 Transportation Improvement Program to add the FY 2022-2026 Transportation Improvement Program by adding the Regional Traffic Operations Program (RTOP) projects for signal management and upgrades on all state routes in the southwest region of Alabama for CPMS Numbers: 100071946 in FY 2021/2022 at a total cost of $1,600,000, 100073375 in FY 2023/2024 at a Total Cost of $669,022, and 100073376 in FY 2025/2026 at a total cost of $357,136.
- Amending the FY 2022-2026 Transportation Improvement Program to add the Construction Phase for the Escambia County Ferry Landing at Quiet Water Beach Phase II Improvements for Financial Project Identification (FPID) Number 4365113 in FY 2021/2022 for Construction at a Total Cost of $767,500.
- Amending the FY 2022-2026 Transportation Improvement Program to Add the Design Phase for SR 8 (I-10) at Pine Forest Road Interchange Improvements for Financial Project Identification (FPID) Number 4379054 in FY 2021/2022 for Design at a Total Cost of $183,117.
- Amending the FY 2022-2026 Transportation Improvement Program to Add the Construction Phase for SR 8 (I-10) Escambia County Welcome Center Resurfacing Project for Financial Project Identification (FPID) Number 4415931 in FY 2021/2022 for Construction at a total cost of $5,744,551.
- Accepting the FDOT Fiscal Years 2023-2027 Tentative Work Program.
