  • The Global Corner will celebrate this year’s Passport Program with a fundraiser on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 6:00-7:30pm at The Pensacola Opera Center, at 75 S Tarragona St, Pensacola, FL 32502. Come enjoy “An Evening in Israel” where we will feature authentic Israeli food and signature Israeli wine and a take a peek at this year’s in-school curriculum. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Global Corner’s educational in-school Passport Program in area elementary schools. This year, we are showcasing the country and culture of Israel.
  • The University of West Florida Dr. Grier Williams School of Music will present the UWF Chamber Music class in concert on Wednesday, April 6 at noon. The concert will be held at Old Christ Church in historic downtown Pensacola.

    The UWF Chamber Music Series at Old Christ Church is closing its 15th season with a wide variety of chamber music repertoire. Under the direction of Dr. Hedi Salanki, the UWF Chamber Music Class will perform well-known musical theater songs, opera arias and vocal duets of Bach, Fanny Mendelssohn, Brahms, Purcell, Mozart, Graun, Chopin, Lakme and others. The concert will feature a wide variety of instruments, including, piano, harpsichord, viola, flute, trumpet and voice.
