  • The Pensacola Habitat Women Build Yard Sale is one of the many fundraising efforts our Women Build volunteers host to help raise funds towards their total goal of $150,000.

    All of the proceeds from the event will benefit Pensacola Habitat for Humanity and the families they serve.

    Help us reach our goal by attending this event and purchasing some lightly-used or brand new goods!

    There will be items for all ages and all types of purposes like kitchen utensils, clothing items, furniture, children's toys, books, electronics and more! While you're at the yard sale, step inside for some A/C and check out our ReStore. We've got great deals on new and gently-used furniture, appliances, lighting, mattresses, paint, plumbing, building supplies and more!

    There will also be food trucks set up with tasty food!

  • Join Francis M. Weston Audubon Society Thursday, April 25, 2024, 7:00-9:00 p.m., as they welcome Heather Wolf, author of “Find More Birds--111 Find More Birds: 111 Surprising Ways to Spot Birds Wherever You Are”.

    Heather, who began her birding journey right here in Pensacola, is a Brooklyn-based birder, author, photographer, and educator. She works with the Cornell Lab of Ornithology as a web developer, teaches birding classes at Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and gives walks and talks for various organizations in New York City and beyond.

    The presentation will be held at Pensacola State College, 1000 College Blvd, in the Baroco Science Center-West, Bldg. 21, Room 2142, Pensacola, FL 32504. The entrance to the meeting room is located across the breezeway from the Planetarium.

  • Join the UWF Combo and UWF Jazz Ensemble for an evening of small and large ensemble instrumental and vocal jazz at the University of West Florida. The Combo will present works by Billy Taylor, Rodgers & Hart, Herbie Hancock, Hirokuzo Ando, George Searing and more. The Jazz Ensemble will present the music of Maynard Ferguson, Eubie Blake, Duke Ellington, Radiohead, Benny Carter and more. The combo and jazz ensemble are under the direction of Dr. Joseph T. Spaniola. The performance will take place on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. at the Center for Fine and Performing Arts (Building 82) in the Mainstage Theatre. The concert is free and open to the public.
