Japanese Food and Culture Day

Japanese Food and Culture Day
This cultural event, which attracts over 500 people each year, aims to foster a deeper understanding of Japanese culture and language while providing enjoyment for families and friends. Each year, it features a specific theme, hands-on activities, various performers showcasing Japanese culture, and vendors.
This year's theme will introduce easy Japanese home-cooked meals, teaching attendees to prepare them using common ingredients available at any grocery store. Additionally, LeRon Harrison, Ph.D. in East Asian Languages and Literatures from UC Irvine has been invited to perform 'Gagaku-court music,' a traditional Japanese court music.
This fantastic event is free and open to the public. No registration is required. Come out and enjoy a wonderful day immersed in Japanese culture.
