Here’s an event where cat hair is not only accepted, it’s encouraged.

The annual Save Our Cats and Kittens fundraiser, Top Hats & Tails: A Cause for Claws, will be 7-10 p.m. Saturday, June 11 online and in-person at Enlightened Studios + The Sound Café, located at 142 Miracle Strip Pkwy. SE.

Enjoy live music, catered hors d'oeuvres, games, guest speakers and a silent auction. Tickets are $50 to attend the event in person and $15 online. Online attendees will be able to access the event using the platform Remo.

The past couple of years have been difficult to say the least for animal rescue groups. And that has been the case for SOCKS with fundraising events put mostly on hold due to the pandemic. This is our first year back in person. We hope by offering a hybrid event we can provide a fun and safe evening for everyone.

This fundraiser helps our shelter continue to care for the cats and kittens in our community and give them a brighter future. In the past year, we had over 400 intakes and 436 adoptions. We simply could not do this without donations.
