International Women's Day is a global celebration of the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality. In order to provide a premier opportunity for women at all stages of their careers to convene and connect with other women from the Perdido Key/Pensacola area, the Perdido Key Area Chamber of Commerce Women Mean Business Committee announced their first annual Women's Leadership Luncheon on March 8th at the Grand Lagoon Yacht Club.

The event will feature three speakers highlighting women's issues.
Jennifer Richardson, Attorney at Law, Emmanuel, Sheppard & Condon will address "Women in the Work Place - What is next for the #metoo Movement, Pay Equity, and Parental Leave”.

Erin Wilmer, of Wilmer Financial Group, will discuss “Financial Health for Women”.

Keynote Speaker Michelle Caldwell will speak on “Breaking Barriers”
It would be impossible to list all of Michelle’s contributions from a national, regional, and local perspective.

• Certified First Aid Mental Health Counselor
• Founded and developed the programming for the Center for Military Excellence (CSME).
• Co-created the Independence Fund and developed the Escarosa Independence Fund.
• Serves on the Board of The Coalition on the Homeless

Doors will open at 11:15 a.m. for a meet and greet
Lunch will start at 11:30 with the program beginning at 11:45 a.m.
