Have you ever thought about taking your birdwatching on the road, maybe
to Okaloosa County?
Well join us for Thursday, September 25th, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm (CDT) for
our membership meeting and presentation and learn the ins and outs of
birding this diverse county from one of the most knowledgeable birders
in Okaloosa County, Jim Anderton!
Jim is a casual birder who began birding in the mid-1970's, spending
more time in the field since 2020. He is a Choctawhatchee Audubon board
member, and has led the annual Christmas Bird Count since 2024.
Jim served 21 years in the USAF, retiring in 2005. He is currently
employed as an engineer at Eglin AFB.
All are welcome at our presentations, no need to be a member.
We begin with a announcements, then jump right in to the presentation,
then finish up with light refreshments and social time.
Our meeting room is located at Pensacola State College, Main Campus, in
