Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) invites local customers to a free Community Energy Saver event where they can speak directly with FPL Energy Experts and community representatives about how to keep their bills as low as possible all summer long. They will receive personalized energy efficiency tips and information on FPL programs and resources.

Through the Community Energy Saver program, customers can sign up for a no-cost home energy audit, which includes free energy-saving installations and services as applicable, such as LED lightbulbs, weather-stripping, water heater pipe-wrapping, water faucet aerator, low-flow shower heads and A/C unit inspections for qualified customers.

While there, guests can also enjoy a complimentary dinner from Smokey’s BBQ, available while supplies last, and can connect with community resource groups such as United Way of West Florida and the Community Action Program.

In an age of automated systems and long hold times, this event offers a valuable opportunity for customers to meet in person with real FPL representatives. At FPL, we work together with the communities we serve to help make Florida an even better place to live and raise a family.
