Bingo Walk to End Alzheimer’s® Kick-Off Event
The public is invited to a night of fun at the Bingo Walk to End Alzheimer’s® Kick-Off Event on Wednesday, May 21 from 6:30 p.m. at Perfect Plain Brewing Co., 50 E. Garden St., in Pensacola.
This special event will give a glimpse of what this year's Walk will look like and a chance to learn more about the Alzheimer’s Association, how to get involved and create your own team. This is a free community event with thrilling Bingo games, spin-the-wheel prizes, and a chance to learn more about resources for Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia.
On Sunday, Oct. 5, 2025, starting at 3 p.m., the Walk to End Alzheimer’s Pensacola Bay Area will be held at Community Maritime Park, 301 West Main St., in Pensacola.
More than 7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's disease in the United States.
In Florida, there are more than 580,000 people living with the disease and 870,000 unpaid dementia caregivers. Escambia County has an estimated 6,500 people or 11.6 percent over the age of 65 living with Alzheimer’s.
