  • The Wreaths Across America Mobile Education Exhibit is a rolling exhibition that brings the local community, veterans, active-duty military, and their families together through interactive exhibits, short films, and shared stories.

  • Tuesday, November 5th, you are invited to come and walk the St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church Labyrinth.

    Spend a few minutes prayerfully walking or sitting in our Meditation Garden. Consider what you are carrying with you and listen as you are invited to lay it down.

    In a time when emotions are high and the ways we are divided are abundantly clear, you are invited to walk, sit, and pray. We will also have a prayer card for those who desire some structure for their prayer.

    The area is elegantly lit for a night-time prayer walk, so come as you can. The Labyrinth and Meditation Garden will be available from 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
  • Opa! Come journey into wines from Greece and enjoy an authentic educational experience with wine educator Hilary Towns, owner of A Curious Wine Shop in Pensacola.

    This one hour presentation will include the geology, history, family, and flavors of the chosen Greek wines and an opportunity to discover and learn about the history, culture, land, and flavors of Greece.

    Proceeds to benefit The Global Corner's in-school Passport Program.

    *The Global Corner is a Northwest Florida non-profit that promotes global competency and cultural appreciation. Since 2008, we've taken elementary school children on more than 96,000 "virtual adventures" without them leaving their schools.

    This school year, we are teaching about Greece!

    Through our program, we bring the experience of traveling to a faraway country to students in classrooms all over Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. Through language, geography and cultural education, art, song, dance and more, we provide a comprehensive, tactile learning experience that transports students across borders, and around the globe without ever leaving their classrooms!

  • The Pensacola Early Music Consort is again a proud participant in the 2024 Foo Foo Festival. Join us on November 10th as we explore the incorporation of the country’s first Sub-sub Great Bass - the lowest pitched recorder at a low C32 hertz.

    What is that you ask?? Come to learn and hear while enjoying new sounds added to old world music. Our repertoire will include Mediaeval, Renaissance, Baroque and modern compositions for early instruments.

    The 14-memberPensacola Early Music Consort will form the core of this celebration, with a few guest musicians to form a large renaissance orchestra including recorder, krummhorns, strings, sackbuts and percussion.
  • On Sunday, October 27th at 5:00 p.m., the Christ Church choir will sing Choral Evensong, one of the oldest and most beautiful liturgies in the Anglican tradition.

    Music will include Anglican Chant; the Magnificat and Nunc dimittis in B minor by T. Tertius Noble; Responses by Richard Barnard; the Kyrie from Messe solennelle by Louis Vierne; and congregational hymns.

    Choral Evensong will be followed by a festive reception.

  • Mountainfilm on Tour brings a selection of culturally rich, adventure-packed and incredibly inspiring documentary films curated from the Mountainfilm festival in Telluride, Colorado. The Tour’s visit to Pensacola at the Pensacola Little Theatre is Saturday November 16, 2024, with doors opening at 6 pm and films beginning at 7 pm.     Mountainfilm on Tour in Pensacola is hosted by Gulf Coast Film Festival in partnership with a collection of local sponsors that include the Edward Jones Peacock Wealth Management Team, Morgan Stanley, Reboot and Co. and Reyco Contracting Solutions. This year’s event is the fifth for Mountainfilm on Tour – Pensacola, which hosts an inspiring collection of films to raise awareness and funding for environmental and community causes, including the nonprofit organizations Pensacola and Perdido Bays Estuary Program and Healthy Gulf.
