A new investigation of a new law that allows police and sheriff's deputies in Florida to ticket drivers for loud music shows that Black drivers are nearly three times more likely than white drivers to be punished. It found that Black drivers received almost 37% of the tickets, despite making up only about 16% of Florida's driving-eligible population.
