John Macdonell

Acoustic Interlude Host/Producer/IT Director

John began his career in radio at the age of 14 when he took over a weekend disc jockey shift at a local AM station. He continued working in commercial radio until he returned to the Pensacola area  and began working at WUWF.

He has produced and hosted Acoustic Interlude for over 20 years and often has nationally known guest artists perform for the show from WUWF's Studio-A. In addition to hosting and producing, supervising the station's computer network and internet services, John does on-air work during the station's membership drives.
