The Blue Angels will be in the sky at NAS Pensacola this weekend. Saturday afternoon the Blue Angels will perform a flyover marking the official end of the 2013 season. Lt. Katie Kelly, the public affairs officer for the Blue Angels says that the public is welcome to watch the maneuver from the parking lot of the museum, but there will be no seating provided.
Of course the Blue Angels were grounded for most of the 2013 season due to the federal sequester budget cuts. Last month the team was informed that they will be back in the sky for a full season in 2014. Lt Kelly said the Blues used this year's down time to connect with people in the Pensacola region.
Saturday's flyover and landing begins at 2pm.
