The Clean Water Festival

Join us on Saturday, August 17th from 10 am – 2pm for the Clean Water Festival at The Landing in downtown Fort Walton Beach. The intent of the event is to educate the public on our different water resources and they ways in which we can protect and conserve them.

Some of the participating vendors include: Emerald Coast Science Center, Florida Department of Health Healthy Beaches program, Coastal Community Clean-up, Florida Department of Environmental Protection Aquatic Preserves. The event will have live music and a few food trucks.

We are also including the arts into the event. Our poetry and short story contest winners will be given a monetary prize and have the opportunity to read their piece at the event. We are now currently hosting a photo contest until July 31st where folks can be vote on line for their favorite piece and the winner will be announced at the Festival and will receive a $50 gift card.

This is a free family friendly event.
