Runge Strings Orchestra Concert - Nov. 9

Members of the The Runge Strings Ensemble rehearse in the Music Hall at the University of West Florida.

Runge Strings Orchestra Concert - Nov. 9

The University of West Florida and the Dr. Grier M. Williams School of Music will present the Runge Strings Orchestra in “Eine kleine Runge Strings concert” on Tuesday, November 9 at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be held in the Music Hall at the Center for Fine and Performing Arts on the Pensacola campus.

Under the direction of Dr. Leonid Yanovskiy the Runge Strings Orchestra will present Eine kleine Nachtmusick by Mozart for their second performance of the season. There are no featured soloists for this concert. Yanovskiy says he picked this work because he was “specifically looking for a piece with no soloists, that is fun, beautiful, plus difficult enough that every ensemble member feels like a soloist.”

This event is free and open to the public but tickets are required. All university COVID protocols will be enforced for this event. For more information, visit uwf.edu/cfpa or call the CFPA box office at 850.857.6285.
