Restoration Rambles: Project Greenshores

Restoration Rambles: Project Greenshores

The Pensacola and Perdido Bays Estuary Program is proud to announce our Restoration Rambles Program! These easy, guided walking tours highlight local restoration sites and will be offered monthly from November - March on rotating Fridays and Saturdays. Check our calendar at https://www.ppbep.org/get-involved for future program dates.

Come join us on Friday, February 9th from 11am-12pm CT in downtown Pensacola! You'll learn about Project Greenshores, an urban restoration site in Pensacola Bay along Bayfront Parkway. Bring your binoculars if you have them—this site attracts a variety of bird species that can be spotted in the marsh and on the breakwaters!

This guided tour will be on a paved walkway.

All ages are welcome, but the content being discussed on the walking tour is geared for adult learners.

Sun protection and a bottle of water is recommended.

DIRECTIONS
We will meet at Admiral Mason Park and walk over together to the Memorial Overlook to catch a great view of Project Greenshores. Additional details will be sent to registered attendees 1-2 days before the event.
