Pensacola Bicycle Tour: Experience UWF Downtown

Pensacola Bicycle Tour: Experience UWF Downtown

Join the Florida Public Archaeology Network, the University of West Florida College of Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities, Ride More Bicycles, and Pensacola Bay Brewery to explore Pensacola's unique history, heritage, and culture...by bicycle!

This leisurely, 3-mile tour will explore Pensacola history and archaeology, shedding light on over 3,000 years of local heritage and culture. Along the way, we will discover the city’s original inhabitants, why Pensacola is Florida’s real first settlement, and the diverse people whose lives built the city we know today. Stops include St. Michael’s Cemetery, Veterans Memorial Park, Seville Square, and Historic Pensacola Village.

The tour group will meet at Fountain Park (on Main Street between S Adams Street and S Alcaniz Street) at 4 p.m. CT. Participation is free but the tour group is limited to 30 cyclists.

Pensacola Bay Brewery has also kindly offered $5.50 pints for a limited period after the tour for participants!

Requirements: Participants should be ages 12+ and must bring their own bicycle and helmet. Riders must wear a helmet and sign a University of West Florida program participation liability release form.

Space is limited to 30 participants; RSVPs are required!
