OVERTURE is Pensacola Opera’s newly reimagined summer experience for students ages 6-12. Taking place July 19-23, this week-long day camp will teach children about the magic and excitement of live theatre by placing them right at the center of the action. From creating original sets and props to starring in all roles, campers will work together to present a fully staged and rehearsed 40-minute production of Mozart’s The Magic Flute. Pensacola Opera’s experienced music staff—alongside special guest teachers—will lead children through this hands-on, unforgettable week.

*COVID-19 GUIDELINES: Pensacola Opera will work with health officials to follow CDC guidance regarding any recommended safety precautions as the week of OVERTURE approaches. Parents/guardians will be notified at least ten days prior to the start of the program what these precautions and procedures will be.
