We will have other emergency preparedness organizations also out to demonstrate their Emergency preparedness skills to the public.
They include Escambia Citizen Emergency Response Team (CERT - BRACE) as well as the Escambia Fire Recuse Dept. The Amateur Radio (HAMS) community will be setting up Portable Antennas, Generators, and radios and using these items to establish a make as many contacts to other hams radio operators throughout North America and throughout the world.
We will have some instructional lessons/demonstrations and have a radio station dedicated to getting individuals without an amateur radio license a chance to talk to other hams and individuals throughout the world by using this station. We will demonstrate all different ways of establishing those radio communications contacts, including voice, digital pictures, teletype style, Morse Code, and emails by using Radio WAVES ONLY and not using the internet.
