Field of Hope: Sexual Violence Awareness Event
The purpose of this event is to allow survivors of Sexual Violence (sexual assault, rape, and sexual abuse) to stop and plant personal messages in the Field of Hope as a symbol of reclaiming their power and providing hope to others.
This event is also an opportunity to show-case the community resources we have by presenting a large visual presence to help victims and their families see our commitment to responding to the needs of victims and survivors.
Day of event: This event will be available for everyone to attend via DRIVE- up to view, IN Person, and VIRTUAL via Facebook Live.
IN- person and DRIVE -up: Social Distancing required Masks strongly encouraged
Flags: White- survivors Teal- other members of the community and those survivors who wish not to reveal Rainbow- for our LGBTQ+ community
Write your message on the flag and plant it in our Field of Hope!! You will be able to walk up, drive up, or view virtually the resources we have in our community via visual displays.
