UWF's 2nd Annual Holocaust Remembrance Event on Wednesday, January 24, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the CFPA Rolfs Music Hall (Building 82). The event flier is attached. This event is made possible by UWF’s Office of Campus Culture and Access (OCCA), College of Business, College of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities, Hal Marcus College of Science and Engineering, Usha Kundu, MD College of Health, Temple Beth El of Pensacola, B’nai Israel Synagogue - Pensacola, Pensacola Chabad Jewish Center, and Pensacola Jewish Federation. The event is free and open to the public; howver, registration is requested at https://casshevents.eventsmart.com/events/uwf-holocaust-remembrance-event/.

The event program will include a reading of the names of Holocaust victims with family ties to Pensacola, a candle lighting ceremony, an enactment of “Survivors” - the play, reading of Righteous Among the Gentiles, music by Dr. Leonid Yanovskiy and Victoria Adamenko, and a prayer of remembrance.
