The concert is a favorite local tradition for many and the new larger venue of First United Methodist Church will provide a comfortable and accessible setting for more guests to attend.
Built in 1908, the impressive gothic-revival structure with classic brownstone exterior and over 100 individual sections of beautiful restored stained glass is a landmark structure in downtown Pensacola.
Tidings of Comfort & Joy is a concert of seasonal music both religious and secular, traditional and contemporary, expertly mixed and chosen by WUWF’s Dale Riegle. After the hubbub of the season, Tidings makes for a perfect quiet evening with family and friends.
Concert performers include: the Perdido Brass (Dale Riegle, leader and trumpet; Jonathan Martin, trumpet; Stuart Kinney, horn; Bret Barrow and Don Snowden, trombones); Sewell Griffith, soprano; Stephanie Riegle, flute; Maeanna Naffe, violin; and Tina Buran, piano.
