African American History

In celebration of Black History Month, the Kukua Institute hosted a genealogy workshop to help African Americans trace their ancestry.

The Belmont-DeVilliers Neighborhood Association wants to preserve the community’s cultural heritage, while also embracing its evolution. This weekend, they’re hosting an inaugural festival that celebrates the historic African-American neighborhood.
