Planetarium Special Feature: Arabian Nights
Join us for a family-friendly Planetarium Special Feature where you'll explore the Arabian myths hidden in the night sky! Space is limited. Purchasing tickets in advance is highly recommended.
Rub that genie’s lamp, and transport yourself to a magical desert! This planetarium show is all about how the planets and stars are connected to the stories of the famous and beautiful storyteller, Scherazade. Hear retellings of Aladdin, King Solomon, and Sinbad the Sailor as we travel around the solar system. We’ll end the show with a look at the Arabian constellations, and you’ll learn how to befriend the Jinn that may or may not live in your home. Recommended for ages 5+.
Shows begin at 6 and 7 p.m. All shows last approximately 45 minutes.
Our Planetarium is an inflatable dome. Guests sit on cushions on the floor of the planetarium to view the show. Space is limited, so purchasing tickets in advance is highly recommended for this reason. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled showing. In case of no-shows/late shows: reserved spots will be released at show time to make space for the next party.
Seating is limited and very popular. We encourage purchasing your tickets in advance, as this is a first come, first served event. Please call 850-664-1261, stop by the Science Center, or use our online ticketing option to purchase your tickets.
Our planetarium is powered by FPL

Pensacola Climate Rally
Join with local students, advocates and musicians as we embrace climate action and a better future for our community. Inspired by our youth but including all ages, we will gather for music, art, and inspiring words from local leaders.
Pensacola is facing a climate emergency as rising seas, stronger storms and extreme heat stress our community. The Pensacola City Council and mayor were given recommendations from the city’s climate task force in November, 2018, and have made some progress. But much, much more needs to be done to adapt and mitigate for the changing climate.
The body of the world’s climate scientists reports that in order to avoid the most catastrophic impacts, we must reduce our emissions of greenhouse gases about 50% below 2010 levels by 2030. That means phasing out fossil fuels, creating better communities designed for people rather than cars, and ensuring a just transition to renewable energy.
The Pensacola Climate Rally is a joint project of 350 Pensacola, Healthy Gulf and Climate Together Pensacola. For more information: christian@healthygulf.org
