  • The Board of Trustees of the University of West Florida
    WUWF Public Media is a member supported service of the University of West Florida. The UWF Board of Trustees is the 13-member governing body for the institution. The governor of Florida appoints six of the members who serve five-year terms and the Board of Governors appoints five of the members who serve five-year terms. All of these must be approved by the Senate. The President of the Faculty Senate holds one of the places. The final member is the President of the Student Government Association.

    In the event of closed meetings or closed portions of open meetings deliberating issues related to public broadcasting, WUWF will post on this website a written statement citing the specific reason(s) for closing the meeting with 10 days.

  • This is a faith-based journey from Pensacola to Montgomery to visit the Equal Justice Initiative Legacy Museum and the National Memorial for Peace and Justice. A chartered bus will leave from St. Christopher's Episcopal Church in Pensacola on Saturday, November 5th, at 6:45 am. There is no charge for transportation but participants will need $5 per person to cover admission to the Legacy Museum. Pack a lunch, snacks, and drinks. Bring a mask and Covid vaccination card for verification. Dress comfortably for predicted weather conditions. The bus will return to Pensacola, arriving around 6:30 pm.
