12th Annual Pink Pirates 5K Run/Walk Returns to Navarre October 17

NAVARRE, Fla. — Pink Pirates of Navarre will host its 12th Annual Pink Pirates 5K Run/Walk for Breast Cancer on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Navarre Beach Boat Ramp parking lot. The fun run/walk begins at 8 a.m.

The annual community event raises funds to help provide lifesaving mammograms for uninsured and underinsured women and men. Since 2013, Pink Pirates and its supporters have raised more than $180,000 toward this mission.

Participants of all ages and abilities are invited to run, walk, honor someone they love, celebrate survivorship, or remember someone whose life was touched by breast cancer.

Following the 5K, participants are invited to an after-party at Windjammers on the Navarre Beach Pier. The celebration will include door prizes and an opportunity for the community to come together in support of the Pink Pirates mission.

About Pink Pirates of Navarre

Pink Pirates of Navarre is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds to provide mammograms for uninsured and underinsured women and men. Through community support, fundraising events and outreach, Pink Pirates works to make early detection more accessible while offering hope and encouragement to those affected by breast cancer.

For the first time in Pensacola, PenArts presents, SIDE SHOW, the powerful musical about two young women who yearned "…to be like everyone else." In the early 1900’s, conjoined twins Daisy and Violet Hilton, rose to stardom in a traveling Freak Show, vaudeville, and Hollywood. SIDE SHOW shares their poignant story.
