The Free Wear Fair
The Free Wear Fair is an event hosted by the Kugelman Honors Council of the University of West Florida. The idea for this event was developed by a student who was looking for a way to combat clothing insecurity on campus. The Free Wear Fair gives students a chance to turn in any unused clothes to donation boxes placed around campus and then browse all of the donated clothes on the day of the event. Students are free to take any items of clothing that they want for free. Various student organizations will also be tabling at the event with information and resources for students. Right now, the Honors Council is accepting donations for the fair. Donation boxes can be found in commons and will soon be available in most of the residence hall lobbies.

The Fight Continues: Rally for Abortion Rights
On November 5, we sent an unequivocal message when more than 6 million Floridians voted in favor of Amendment 4. 57% of voters in our state voted YES for abortion rights. We now have proof that a large majority of Floridians demand reproductive justice. We continue the fight with renewed vigor.
On November 17, the Pensacola Abortion Rights Taskforce is hosting a rally to affirm our community’s commitment to abortion rights and our ongoing fight to get them.
