We will have a hayride, inflatables, baseball & basketball challenges, face painting, horse rides, fun GLOW TRUNK stations, cake walk, food trucks, Mr. Softie, Kona Ice, prizes, and plenty of candy!!   • PENSACOLA EARLY MUSIC CONSORT HOLIDAY FESTIVAL

    The Pensacola Early Music Consort is proud to present a Holiday Festival of music. Join us on December 14th as we celebrate the season with Christmas Tide music from the Mediaeval, Renaissance, and Baroque eras, as well as modern compositions for early instruments.

    The 14-member Pensacola Early Music Consort makes up the core of this celebration, with a few visiting guest musicians to form a renaissance orchestra including recorders, krummhorns, strings, sackbuts and percussion.

    The event is December 14th at 3:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church (ELCA), 4600 N. 9th Avenue in Pensacola, FL.

  • Under the direction of Dr. Hedi Salanki, this Chamber Music Concert on Wednesday, December 3, from noon to 2 p.m. at Old Christ Church, 405 South Adams Street in downtown Pensacola, serves as a traditional end-of-year celebration.

    Students will perform pieces written by Vivaldi, Bach, Mozart, Brahms, Tchaikovsky and many others. The performance will include pieces performed by the UWF Brass Quintet, String Quartet as well as many duets and trios. Audiences will also enjoy a Christmas song sing-along.

    Music lovers of all ages, including school groups and senior citizens, are invited. Doors open at 11 a.m. and early arrival is encouraged.
  • Join the UWF Jazz Combo and UWF Jazz Ensemble on Thursday, December 4, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the Mainstage Theatre at the Center for Fine and Performing Arts under the direction of Dr. Joseph T. Spaniola for an evening of small and large ensemble instrumental and vocal jazz at the University of West Florida.

    The Combo will present works by Lerner & Lane, Hoagy Carmichael, Vince Guaraldi, Shoji Meguro, Chick Corea and more. The Jazz Ensemble will present works by Sammy Nestico, Quincy Jones, Bob Brookmeyer, Marty Paich, Paul Baker and more.

Then, look to the heavens as the skies open to reveal this year’s Nativity of Angels, a breathtaking portrayal of the heavenly hosts in song.

    What’s Christmas without a little Whoville cheer? Join the Whos for a whimsical Who-bilation, with a special visit from the Grinch himself. And no holiday adventure would be complete without a trip aboard the Polar Express! Climb aboard for a magical ride to the North Pole, where the spirit of Christmas shines brightest (for those who still hear the bells). Embrace the joy of homecoming as the chorus celebrates the warmth of friends and family gathered together for the holidays—a heartfelt reminder of what makes this season so special.

  • It's time for our 43rd annual WILDfest! Come visit for the annual celebration of our founding and bring a few supplies to help us restock after the craziest baby season we've ever had. Meet our permanent resident animals, enjoy local food, have some fun at our kids craft pavilion, and meet other local conservation groups who will be running fun activities for everyone. Our WILDfest goal is to fill up an entire trailer with supplies. Come join in on the fun!
