Thursday, June 3
The Florida Department of Health in Escambia County (FDOH-Escambia), in partnership with the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, will offer free COVID-19 vaccines to fans at Blue Wahoos games on Saturday, June 5, Sunday, June 6, Saturday, June 19, and Sunday, June 20. No appointments will be necessary for fans attending the games.

Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines will be available to eligible participants ages 12 and up. Vaccine recipients will be expected to receive their second dose at FDOH-Escambia the week of Monday, June 28, 2021. Single-shot Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccines will be available to eligible participants ages 18 and up.

Fans interested in attending the Blue Wahoos games during which vaccines will be administered can secure their tickets at bluewahoos.com.

Wednesday, June 2
Ascension Sacred Heart will host a Pfizer COVID 19 vaccine clinic for those age 12 and up at the county's vaccination station, 6209 Hwy. 90 in Milton (at the former Bealls) on Sat., June 5 from 1-5 p.m. Walk-ins are accepted or appointments can be made online at www.getsacredheartcare.com.The Santa Rosa County Department of Health continues to administer Moderna COVID vaccinations (both first and second doses) at that same location for anyone 18 and older as follows:

  • Tues. - Fri. each week until further noticeWalk-ins and appointments available 8:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
  • Saturdays each week until further noticeWalk-ins from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
  • Closed Sunday and Monday.

Tuesday, June 1
The Florida Department of Health in Escambia County (FDOH-Escambia) is expanding walk-in hours for their COVID-19 vaccine clinic located at 1295 West Fairfield Dr. beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, June 2.

Walk-ins are welcome Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Same-day appointments can be made by calling 850-595-6554. Questions can be directed to FDOH-Escambia’s COVID-19 phone line at 850-595-6500 option 6.

Wednesday, May 26
The Florida Department of Health in Escambia County (FDOH-Escambia), in partnership with Santa Rosa Island Authority and Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM), will offer free COVID-19 vaccines on Friday, May 28, Saturday, May 29, Sunday, May 30, and Monday, May 31 at Casino Beach on Pensacola Beach. Walk-ups welcome, no appointment needed. Details are listed below:

Friday, May 28, 2021:

When: 1- 4 p.m.

Where: Casino Beach on Pensacola Beach
