Sunday, Jan. 31

State Adds 7,788 Cases 

The state added 7,788 cases according to Sunday's FDOH report. An additional 120 deaths were also report, six of which reported locally — four in Santa Rosa County, one in Okaloosa and one in Walton County. No additional deaths reported in Escambia county. 

Local numbers:

  • Escambia added 159 cases and has a 8.81% positivity rate
  • Santa Rosa added 95 cases and has a 13.45% positivity rate
  • Okaloosa added 68 cases and has a 9.28% positivity rate
  • Walton added 17 cases and has a 4.86% positivity rate

Saturday, Jan. 30, 

State Adds Over 15,000 Cases

FDOH reported 15,019 cases and 110 deaths in Saturday's report. Escambia County reported 10 deaths, Santa Rosa reported two and one in Okaloosa. No deaths were reported in Walton County. 

Local numbers:

  • Escambia added 402 cases and has a 12.04% positivity rate
  • Santa Rosa added 142 cases and has a 10.80% positivity rate
  • Okaloosa added 124 cases and has a 12.72% positivity rate
  • Walton added 43 cases and has a 6.71% positivity rate 

Friday, Jan. 29

 Over 150,000 Vaccinations Administered Since Monday

An additional 159,741 vaccinations have been administered since Monday according to the FDOH report. A total of 1,567,152 vaccinations have been administered.

  • 28,169 in Escambia County 
  • 17,027 in Santa Rosa County
  • 16,595 in Okaloosa County
  • 6,022 in Walton County. 

State Adds Over 10,000 Cases

The state added 10,976 cases according to Friday's FDOH report. An additional 229 deaths were also reported statewide, seven of which were reported from local areas — five in Escambia, one in Okaloosa and one in Walton County. No additional deaths reported in Santa Rosa County. 

Local numbers:

  • Escambia added 186 cases and has a 25.32% positivity rate
  • Santa Rosa added 71 cases and has a 20.99% positivity rate
  • Okaloosa added 113 cases and has a 28.57% positivity rate
  • Walton added 34 cases and has a 21.33% positivity rate

Thursday, Jan. 28

Register Online For The COVID-19 Vaccine

Florida residents who meet the criteria for the COVID vaccine can now pre-register online at myvaccine.fl.gov. Florida Department of Emergency Management now manages the vaccine waitlist. FDEM has partnered with ShareCare Health Data Services to schedule vaccine appointments. 

207 Deaths Statewide, 13 Locally

The state added 11,423 COVID cases according to Thursday's FDOT report. An additional 207 deaths were also reported, 13 were reported locally — seven in Escambia and six in Okaloosa. No additional deaths reported in Santa Rosa or Walton counties. 

Local numbers:

  • Escambia added 292 cases and has a 10.60% positivity rate
  • Santa Rosa added 165 cases and has a 17.36% positivity rate
  • Okaloosa added 167 cases and has a 22.74% positivity rate
  • Walton added 

Wednesday, Jan. 27

10 Local Deaths

The state added 8,408 cases and 169 deaths according to Wednesday's FDOH report. Locally, 10 deaths were reported: five from Escambia, three from Santa Rosa and two in Walton County. No additional deaths reported in Okaloosa County. 

Local numbers:

  • Escambia added 306 cases and has a 18.59% positivity rate
  • Santa Rosa added 120 cases and has a 21.53% positivity rate
  • Okaloosa added 100 cases and has a 29.82% positivity rate
  • Walton added 42 cases and has a 21.54% positivity rate

Tuesday, Jan. 26

9,104 Cases Statewide

Florida has an additional 9,104 cases according to Tuesday's FDOH report. The state also saw an additional 231 deaths — 25 of which were reported from local areas. Escambia reported 13 deaths, Santa Rosa reported 11, and Walton reported one. No additional deaths reported in Okaloosa County Tuesday. 

Local numbers:

  • Escambia added 234 cases and has a 15.75% positivity rate
  • Santa Rosa added 97 cases and has a 23.95% positivity rate
  • Okaloosa added 147 cases and has a 17.53% positivity rate
  • Walton added 28 cases and has a 9.36% positivity rate

Monday, Jan. 25

State Adds 8,720 Cases, 156 Deaths

The state added 8,720 COVID cases according to Monday's FDOH report, totaling 1,658,169. The state also reported an additional 156 deaths, only one of which was reported from a local area, Okaloosa County. 

Local numbers:

  • Escambia added 135 cases and has a 17.47% positivity rate
  • Santa Rosa added 85 cases and has a 19.53% positivity rate
  • Okaloosa added 56 cases and has a 14.63% positivity rate
  • Walton added 29 cases and has a 16.78% positivity rate

Over 150,000 Have Completed COVID Vaccine

According to the FDOH daily vaccination report, 157,972 have completed both doses of the COVID vaccine. 1,407,411 total people have been vaccinated.
