It's primary election day in Florida.

7:30 p.m. Update
Rick Scott appears to be the Republican nominee for U.S. Senator with 88.8 percent of votes. Associated Press declared it an "easy win" over opponent Roque "Rocky" De La Fuente. Scott will go against Democrat incumbent Sen. Bill Nelson.
In the Florida gubernatorial race, Democrats Andrew Gillum and Gwen Graham are close with 32.6 percent and 32.1 percent of votes, respectively. Among the Republicans, Ron DeSantis in the lead with 56.1 percent of votes. The Associated Press has declared DeSantis the winner of the Republican primary.
In Pensacola, with 20 of 21 precincts reporting, Grover Robinson appears to have the lead for the city's mayoral race with 34.5 percent of votes.
8 p.m. Update
With 41 of 41 precincts reported, Santa Rosa County votes are in. In District 2, County Commissioner Bob Cole has secured his seat. And in District 4, incumbent Rob Williamson was defeated by Air Force veteran Dave Piech.
For Santa Rosa School Board, Carol Boston, Wei Ueberschaer and Linda Sanborn were the winners.
In the town of Jay, Nina Hendricks won her seat for City Council with 54 of the 123 total votes.
With all precincts reporting in Okaloosa County, Linda Evanchyk, Diane Kelley and Lamar White all won their school board races.
For Florida's State Representative District 1, it appears Vikki Garrett will be the Democratic nominee with 60 percent of the votes with 74 of 79 precincts reporting. For Republicans, Mike Hill has 47.9 percent of votes with 32 or 37 participating precincts reporting.
8:30 p.m. Update
The Associated Press has declared Andrew Gillum winner of the Democratic nominee for governor.
Incumbent Matt Gaetz secured the Republican nomination for Florida's 1st congressional district and will face political newcomer Dr. Jennifer Zimmerman, who has 65 percent of votings for the Democratic nomination.
Escambia County School Board races winners: Kevin Adams for District 1, Paul Fetsko for District 2 and Laura Dortch Edler for District 3.
