Andy Marlette, the award-winning cartoonist and columnist for the Pensacola News Journal since 2007, spoke about his craft Sept. 14 at the Pensacola Museum of Art. His talk was part of an exhibit “Them Damned Pictures: A Brief History of Editorial Cartoons” that concluded in September. In addition to discussing his work, he answered questions about his method of drawing, how he chooses his subjects and how he handles critics. About 75 people attended the standing-room-only event.
