Gulf Coast Diplomacy is celebrating citizen diplomacy at our annual Mint Jubilee celebration!
At the Mint Jubilee, we will be celebrating citizen diplomacy, hospitality, and the U.S. Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). We will be joined by international visitors from Tajikistan so please give them a warm Pensacola HELLO! Ladies, please wear your hats. Gentlemen, remember your bow ties. There will be prizes, games, music, heavy hors d'oeuvres, and a live auction!
Since 2004, the Connecting the Pieces Gala has been one of the major sources of revenue for Autism Pensacola, thanks to the generosity of sponsors, guests, and donors, It empowered Autism Pensacola to transform the organization from an all-volunteer group of parents, families, and advocates of children with autism to the professionally-run nonprofit it is today.
It was originally created by grandparents, Sharon and Logan Fink, to support the flagship program, Kids for Camp Summer Learning Lab, a summer camp program created by Judy Burns specifically for children with autism. Not only does Kids for Camp provide a safe environment for children to socialize, learn, and grow, it also is the platform for teachers, students, and teen volunteers for gaining hands-on experience that they can then bring into their curriculum, classrooms, and the community.

Join Healthy Gulf for a beach ecology walk along the shifting sands and waters of Santa Rosa Island at Pensacola Beach. We’ll hike along both the Gulf and Sound side of the Island, exploring the changing plant communities and life along the shoreline. Along the way we’ll learn more about terrestrial and aquatic life by examining what has washed ashore, including seeds, shells, plants, fish, crabs and other items both natural and man-made.
The hike will take about one and a half hours to complete. The exact meeting location on the east side of Pensacola Beach will be provided upon registration. The Walk is free, but space is limited in order to ensure a quality experience. To reserve a spot or for more information please email christian@healthygulf.org or call (850) 687-9968.
