UWF Graduate School and the Office of Research and Engagement is hosting a Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition in conjunction with Research Week. 3MT is a research communication competition developed by the University of Queensland in Australia. It challenges graduate students to make a compelling presentation on their thesis topic and its significance in just three minutes. The competition helps students develop academic, presentation, and research communication skills and the capacity to explain their research to a non-academic audience.

UWF Graduate Students will submit a pre-recorded 3 minute video which will be projected/played at this event that is open to faculty, staff, and students and where the judges will adjudicate the presentations. There will be a short welcome by the Provost and then a final announcement of the winner(s). The event will be streamed live so that people off campus can view the competition.
