Triptych

Triptych

The Choral Society of Pensacola presents an exhilarating program of 20th and 21st century works for soloist, chorus, and percussion, exploring life from the cradle to the grave.

The concert includes a triptych of triptychs: three three-part works with music by Leonard Bernstein ("Chichester Psalms"), Ken Neufeld ("Three Songs of Innocence"), and Tarik O'Regan ("Triptych"), as well as three short pieces by Mack Wilberg, Stephen Sondheim, and René Clausen.

Soprano Allanda Small is the featured soloist with the Society’s 80-voice chorus, harpist Katie Ott, pianist Hyunjoo Kim, and eight of the Gulf Coast’s finest percussionists, all conducted by artistic director Peter Steenblik.
