The University of West Florida Military and Veterans Resource Center invites the campus community and the general public to the Memorial Day Observance Ceremony on Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. in the University Commons Auditorium (Building 22). Hear from guest speaker Navy Capt. Scott "Mongo" Janik, commanding officer of the Naval School of Aviation Safety. The event will honor and recognize the fallen, MIA, and POW, and the theme is local veteran memorial parks and monuments. There will be free parking available in parking lots K and H.
