The University of West Florida and the Dr. Grier Williams School of Music will present the UWF Jazz Ensemble & Combo: with special guest Sara Schoch in concert on Tuesday, Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be held in the Mainstage Theatre at the Center for Fine and Performing Arts on the Pensacola campus.
Join the UWF Combo and UWF Jazz Ensemble with special guest vocalist Sara Schoch for an evening of small and large ensemble instrumental and vocal jazz at the University of West Florida. The Combo will present works by Rodgers & Hammerstein, Miles Davis, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Duke Ellington and more. The Jazz Ensemble will present the music of Frank Meacham, Andrew Neu, Joe Henderson, Paul Baker and more. Guest artist Sara Schoch, UWF Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre and Acting, joins the big band to sing “Orange Colored Sky” and “That Old Black Magic.” The combo and jazz ensemble are under the direction of Dr. Joseph T. Spaniola. The concert is free and open to the public.
