In many ways, WUWF is fueled by trust. After all, that is one of the reasons you tune in every day. Trust is what makes this station successful—and this fall WUWF is putting all of its trust in you as we make a radical change.
WE ARE CUTTING OUR FALL ON-AIR FUNDRAISING BY HALF.
In a time when public broadcasting is known for what seems like year-round fundraising, WUWF has kept its on-air fundraising to just twice a year, far less than most stations. But we are striving to do even better and with your help we will succeed in changing the model for on-air fundraising at WUWF.
ALL THE FUNDRAISING IN HALF THE TIME.
We plan to take just five days on the air to raise all the funds we need for this fall fundraiser. That is half the time we usually fundraise in the spring and fall. This is a big change and it started by listening to our members. You told us you understand our need for funding from the community. You also told us that our on-air fundraising drives were long. We hear you—and now we have a plan to work together and achieve both of these goals.
We need you to make this experiment a success! Renewing your membership before October 20th makes our on-air goal smaller AND will make the on-air drive shorter. Your gift today will help make this plan work.
