The Pensacola Symphony returns to the Saenger Theatre this Saturday, April 27th, for the final concert of the Masterworks Series. The program, which begins at 7:30pm, will feature renown pianist Alessio Bax in a performance of the Grieg concerto. Composer Gabriela Lena Frank will be on hand to share her recent piece, as well as thoughts on the rest of the program. Bartok’s exuberant Concerto For Orchestra closes the concert. Music Director Peter Rubardt and UWF professor Dr. Hedi Salanki stopped by the WUWF studios to share some thoughts on the special event.
