Florida death toll at 13,296

From the state department of health:

  • Yesterday’s statewide positivity rate for new cases is 4.64 percent.
  • Yesterday was the thirty-eighth straight day below 10 percent positivity of new cases.

Saturday, Sept. 19

State death toll at 13,287

The state department of health issued the following COVID-19 data:

  • Yesterday’s statewide positivity rate for new cases is 4.53 percent.
  • Yesterday was the 38th straight day below 10 percent positivity of new cases.

Friday, Sept. 18

Florida death toll at 13,225

From the state department of health:

  • Yesterday’s statewide positivity rate for new cases is 4.18 percent.
  • Yesterday was the thirty-seventh straight day below 10 percent positivity of new cases.
  • Yesterday, test results for more than 84,000 individuals were reported to DOH.
  • As of September 18, 677,660 individuals have tested positive for COVID-19 in Florida.

Thursday, Sept. 17

118 deaths reported Wednesday

The state department of health reports the death toll from COVID-19 is 13,086, including 188 reported Wednesday.

Tuesday, Sept. 15

State positivity rate at 4.22 percent

Yesterday, test results for more than 68,900 individuals were reported to DOH.  

As of today, 668,846 individuals have tested positive for COVID-19 in Florida.  

Yesterday’s statewide positivity rate for new cases was 4.22 percent.  

Yesterday was the 34th straight day below 10 percent positivity of new cases.  

Monday, Sept. 14

Okaloosa COVID Testing Rescheduled

The drive-thru test site scheduled for Tuesday, September 15 is cancelled due to the potential of inclement weather. The next drive-thru testing date is scheduled for Thursday, September 17 in Crestview at the Crestview Community Center—1446 Commerce Drive. Florida death toll at 12,642

Today, data reported to the state department of health shows there has been a steady decline in the number of reported Florida resident deaths who were previously diagnosed with COVID-19. The fourth week of July compared to the fourth week of August, shows a 75 percent decrease in the average number of reported COVID-19-related deaths.  

There have been 12,642 deaths related to COVID-19.
