Today, as reported at 10 a.m. Central, there are 2,974 new positive COVID-19 cases and 51 reported deaths -- 2 occurred Saturday.
On Saturday, 5.52 percent of new cases tested positive. To date, there are 600,571 Florida cases with 10,525 deaths related to COVID-19.
Since Saturday, the death of 51 Florida residents who tested positive for COVID-19 have been reported in Broward, Dade, Hillsborough, Indian River, Jackson, Lee, Leon, Marion, Palm Beach, Pinellas, Seminole and St. Johns counties.

Test results for more than 98,600 individuals were reported to DOH as of midnight, on Friday. On Friday, 4.89 percent of new cases tested positive.

CareerSource EscaRosa along with FloridaWest, The Greater Pensacola Chamber of Commerce, The Gulf Coast Minority Chamber, Studer Community Institute, Pensacola Young Professionals, and Fleet and Family Support Center will host the first “Re-Employ Escarosa Campaign”. Escambia to provide meals to distance-learning students
The Escambia County School District will provide meals through curbside service for students who selected distance learning. Starting Monday, families may pick up one breakfast and lunch per student each day school is in session at any location of their choice, regardless of the student’s assigned school.
Distribution sites and times are listed below.
When parents arrive to pick up meals they will be asked for their students’ names and school ID numbers. Families with students that pay full or reduced price for meals, should put money on their student’s account online at myschoolbucks.com to cover the cost of the breakfast and lunch.
