Thursday, April 8

State Adds 7,939 Cases, 86 Deaths

The state reported an additional 7,939 infections Thursday, according to the FDOH report. An additional 86 deaths were also reported, including one from Okaloosa County. No additional deaths were reported in Escambia, Santa Rosa or Walton counties. 

Local numbers:

  • Escambia added 40 cases and has a 6.36% positivity rate
  • Santa Rosa added 22 cases and has a 4.64% positivity rate
  • Okaloosa added 32 cases and has a 5.57% positivity rate
  • Walton added 19 cases and has a 6.02% positivity rate

Wednesday, April 7

State Adds 5,885 Cases, 42 Deaths

The state added 5,885 infections according to Thursday's FDOH report. An additional 42 deaths were also reported. Of the 42 deaths, 4 were from local counties: one from Escambia, one from Santa Rosa and two from Okaloosa. 

Local numbers:

  • Escambia added 25 cases and has a 2.54% positivity rate
  • Santa Rosa added 13 cases and has a 4.23% positivity rate
  • Okaloosa added 13 cases and has a 3.58% positivity rate
  • Walton added 10 cases and has a 8.26% positivity rate

Tuesday, April 6

State Adds 5,556 Cases, 70 Deaths

The state added 5,556 infections according to FDOH's Tuesday report. An additional 70 deaths were also reported, one of which was from Walton County. No additional deaths reported in Escambia, Santa Rosa or Okaloosa counties. 

Local numbers:

  • Escambia added 12 cases and has a 2.42% positivity rate
  • Santa Rosa added 6 cases and has a 2.19% positivity rate
  • Okaloosa added 18 cases and has a 4.53% positivity rate
  • Walton added 15 cases and has a 9.62% positivity rate

Community Health Vaccination Clinics Next Week

Community Health Northwest Florida will hold three COVID-19 vaccination clinics next week, two in Pensacola and one in Milton. Appointments are required. Eligible persons who wish to participate in one of these events should call the Community Health COVID-19 Vaccine Call Center at 850-439-3358 to schedule an appointment.

Monday, April 12

Location: Brownsville Community Center – 3200 W. De Soto Street

Vaccine: Moderna COVID-19 vaccine – First dose (of two)

Vaccine Time: 8a.m. – 3p.m.

Wednesday, April 14

Location: 6209 Highway 90 / Caroline Street (formerly Beall’s), Milton

Vaccine: Johnson and Johnson (Janssen) “One Shot” 

Vaccine Time: 8a.m. – 4:30p.m.

Friday, April 16

Location: Brownsville Community Center - 3200 W. De Soto Street

Vaccine: Johnson and Johnson (Janssen) “One Shot” COVID-19
