Pat Crawford
is readying
for his next
fundraising
adventure.
Starting in
April of
2009, Pat
will travel
by bicycle
from
Pensacola to
Ontario,
retracing
the
so-called
Underground
Railroad
that was
used by
American
slaves to
escape from
the South to
Canada.
Pat will be
following a
route of
historic
sites that's
been mapped
out by the
Adventure
Cycling
Association.
In honor of
Black
History
Month, Pat
sat down
with Sandra
Averhart to
talk about
the cultural
and
educational
aspects of
the trip.
